The 123 Tax portal is a web app: you install it straight from your browser, without an app store. You get your own 123 Tax icon on your desktop, in the Start menu or Dock, or on your home screen – and the portal opens in its own window. Updates happen automatically.
Windows or Mac – Chrome or Edge
Open the portal
Go to portal.123-tax.nl and log in.
Click install
Click the install icon at the right of the address bar – or the “Install app” button at the top of the portal.
Confirm
Click “Install”. The app opens in its own window.
Done
You find 123 Tax in the Start menu and taskbar, or in your Dock and Launchpad.
Mac – Safari
Open the portal
Go to portal.123-tax.nl in Safari and log in.
Add to Dock
In the menu bar, choose File › Add to Dock.
Confirm
Click “Add”.
Done
123 Tax is now in your Dock and opens in its own window.
iPhone or iPad – Safari
Open the portal
Go to portal.123-tax.nl in Safari.
Share
Tap the Share button – the square with an arrow.
Add to Home Screen
Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
Done
Tap “Add”. The 123 Tax icon is on your home screen.
Android – Chrome
Open the portal
Go to portal.123-tax.nl in Chrome.
Menu
Tap the menu – the three dots at the top right.
Install app
Tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
Done
Tap “Install”. The 123 Tax icon is on your home screen.
Questions
Is the app safe?
Yes. It is the same secure portal as in your browser, with the same login. Your data stays on our secure servers in the EU, not on your device.
Does the app cost extra?
No. The app is included in your subscription.
Do I need the App Store or Google Play?
No. You install the app straight from your browser.
How do I remove the app?
On a laptop: open the app, click the menu at the top and choose Uninstall. On a phone: press and hold the icon and choose Remove.
I do not see an install button. What now?
Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on your laptop, or Safari on an iPhone. Firefox does not support installing web apps.
